The BOLD system is a global, open, and collaborative platform and community to help people improve their understanding of biodiversity. supports the acquisition, storage, validation, analysis, and publication of DNA barcodes: activities that require the integration of molecular, morphological, and distributional data. Its pivotal role in curating the reference library of DNA barcodes, coupled with its data management and analysis capabilities, makes it a central resource for biodiversity science. It enables rapid, accurate identification of specimens and also reveals patterns of genetic diversity and evolutionary relationships among taxa.

COL aims to address the needs of researchers, policy-makers, environmental managers and the wider public for a consistent and up-to-date listing of all the world’s known species. COL also supports those who need to manage their own taxonomic information and species lists.

CORE is a not-for-profit service dedicated to the open access mission and one of the signatories of the Principles of Open Scholarly Infrastructures POSI.
Consortium of Lichen Herbaria
The Consortium serves as gateway to biodiversity data of lichenized fungi. It unites records not only from lichen herbaria in North America, but also from herbaria in Latin America, Europe, Asia, Oceania, as well as personal collections and research observations.

Animal Base
AnimalBase is a service provided by the Zoological Institute of the University of Göttingen, Germany. Our work has initially been funded by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft DFG.

Acta Entomologica Musei Nationalis Pragae
An open access journal publishing papers on insect systematics, morphology of adult and immature stages and/or their biology, phylogeny, large-scale catalogues, and general papers on methodology of insect systematics

BioLib
BioLib is an international encyclopedia of plants, fungi and animals. Apart from taxonomic system you can visit our gallery, glossary, vernacular names dictionary, database of links and literature, systems of biotopes, discussion forum and several other functions related to biology. It is a non-commercial educational project intended to be used both by experts and general public. Its content can be expanded by user contributions.
Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas
The largest public research organisation in Spain and one of the most important in the European Research Area (ERA), as as the main player in the Spanish Science, and Innovation System (SECTI).
JSTOR
JSTOR provides access to more than 12 million journal articles, books, images, and primary sources in 75 disciplines.

Plants of the world Online
Plants of the World Online (POWO) which is an international collaborative programme that has as a primary aim to make available digitized data of the world’s flora gathered from the past 250 years of botanical exploration and research. POWO also aims to make freely available electronic data created by different projects but that no longer have an online presence or where data was never made available externally. It delivers information on the taxonomy, identification, images, distribution, traits, threat status, molecular phylogenies and uses of vascular plants worldwide. The data are sourced from the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew as well as its partners and collaborators who generously contribute data and make it openly accessible on POWO.
Ministerio para la Transición Ecológica
